seven serial sketches

seven serial sketches takes inspiration from serialist compositional techniques, primarily utilising a sequence of intervals (perfect 5th, minor 2nd, tritone) to construct and develop the musical material. The sketches prominently explore 24-TET microtonality, utilising microtonal chromatic movements as gestures which later expand into a juxtaposition of melodies from 12-TET and 24-TET.
